Men's Ministry
Sometimes, as men, it is easy to get wrapped up in the day-to-day grind and forget the importance of community. Marquette's men's ministry is designed to encourage meaningful relationship building as together we seek to learn more about God and His Word through fellowship, prayer, service, and discipleship. It is our goal to encourage men to grow to be strong leaders for Christ in our church, homes, and community.
Men's Ministry Opportunities
Sunday Bible Study
Designed to help men grow in their understanding of God and His Word, our men's Bible study meets in Room 201 every Sunday at 9:30 AM.
Prayer Time
Men meet weekly on Saturday at 7:00 AM in Room 209 for a time of fellowship and prayer. Occasionally, we enjoy breakfast together at a nearby restaurant afterward.
Basketball
Men meet from September through May on select Monday evenings at 8:30 PM in the gymnasium to play basketball, and a brief Bible challenge is also given.
Golf
There are two annual men's golf outings – Memorial Day and Labor Day. Locations and start times vary.
